I will support policies that put working Kansans ahead of wealthy corporations and special interests. That means protecting fair wages and safe workplaces, supporting workers' right to organize, expanding access to affordable child care, and investing in the infrastructure and services that help families and businesses succeed.
A strong economy starts with strong families. When parents can afford child care, when seniors can age with dignity, and when workers can earn a living wage, Kansas communities and businesses are stronger.

I will work to lower health care costs and expand access to quality care, including in rural communities. We should strengthen the health care workforce, protect access to local providers, expand practical options such as telehealth, and ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent Kansans from receiving the care they need.
Patients, their families, and their medical professionals should make health care decisions—not politicians. I support protecting the right of Kansans to make personal health and reproductive decisions without unnecessary government interference.

Our family’s four children all benefited from Manhattan's strong public schools. Public schools are the heart of our communities, and Kansas must invest in them accordingly.
I will fight for fully funded public education, including special education, and for the teachers, staff, counselors, and programs our children need to succeed. Public dollars should strengthen our public schools rather than subsidize private-school tuition.
Public education includes our colleges and universities. We need to ensure access, affordability, 2-year and 4-year pathways, and state-sponsored scholarship opportunities that steer students toward high-demand professions.
Every child deserves a high-quality education, no matter their ZIP code. That includes access to nutritious meals, career and technical education, before- and after-school opportunities, and affordable pathways through community colleges, trade schools, and technical programs.

I will support policies that increase the supply of safe, quality, affordable housing while giving local communities the tools they need to address housing costs. We should encourage home construction and rehabilitation, support responsible local development, and protect Kansans from practices that unnecessarily drive up rents and housing costs.
No family should be pushed out of its community simply because housing has become unaffordable.
